Lo all im the local nubbert when it comes to building etc, trying my best to learn at least though.

Anyway im planning to do a new build in the next few months and i've decided to plan ahead a good bit to avoid disappointment.

this disappointment being an antec sonata and antec 900
Now these cases look the part and all but as a village idiot, im not good at making the best of them. My love would be a Large decent looking case that has a lot of room to work in so its easy to make changes. The other thing is my case looks a disgrace inside, wire all over the show. You could say learn to tidy but for example one of the psu cables is really small in length and goes directly into the centre (just about) of my mobo which makes it look messy from the start and doesnt inspire me to make the rest of it neat to the highest of standards.

So basically what is the best case out there for size and ease to work in? I've had nightmares with my current setup from a bad flash that resorted in a new bios chip....then a new mobo and frankly the HDD just doesn't feel right to me.

A great help would be a link to some guide to keeping things tidy, information on using the right screws for the right job for example?

Sorry for the weird post, odd mood, thanks for any help you can provide

Akasa eclipse, looks alright, easy to use, high build quality and lots of space. Theres also holes in the motherboard tray for cable routing.

Seconded, i love my eclipse so much im forever opening it up to see how i can make it look sexier. Without a doubt the best case I've ever worked with. Believe the hype :D

eclipse fanboys ***, if you want an alternative to that maybe the antec p180? i was considering it at 1 point

A case thats a joy to work with and the P180 in the same sentance just do not go well. :p

Zen and Eclipse are probably the best two, no frills basic designs that give you no problems.

I had a P180 then changed to an Eclipse and it was the best decision that I have ever made in my life.

CM Stacker. Eclipse looks small by comparison.

Maybe a bit bigger overall but he wanted a case that is easy to keep tidy, yours isn't exactly neat from the pic you have posted about 50 times :p

Haha. The p180 is a horrid case to try and keep organised, its very cramped and unbelievably overated.

No point making "neat and tidy" like you see on side window rigs. if you need to take it apart you don't want to remove cable sheathing/cable wrap just to pull out unwanted cables. I just use couple of twisty wires and then pushed to one side. As long as cables aren't piled ontop of fans .

lian li pc-7+, v1000b and v2000b probably best choices....some of the nicest lol, loads more but too tired to list them
