Hey boys (and girls),

I have an interesting challenge for you all. This festive season I have booked three weeks off. I will be spending most of the time at my parents but also need to be able to get around to see my mates.

Now here is where the problem lies, I moved to London 9 months ago and sold my ST.

So the challenge, what is the cheapest way to get a car for 3 weeks.

Renting: the best I can do is £539.00 for a bloody chevy spark.

I am 24 if that changes anything.

Thanks friends.

yeah, I did think about that, the only problem is I will likely be at my mates for a few days at a time and they need the cars for the dogs and generally getting about.

It would be awesome if there was a way to get a fun car, like an old scooby or something like that and maybe I could just ditch it at webuyanycar at the end?

You mean you don't know where to get an old scooby from that you can just throw away after 3 weeks?

Have you never heard of an auction?

Mind you it might cost you a bit more than £539.

I don't know if they do it in the UK but some dealers here do a '7-day no questions asked refund policy' on new cars and trucks, I always think that's a cracking idea for getting a car for a week in a pinch without spending any money. :p

lol yeah. that is a good plan.

If you can sort it into a three week test drive plan, you will be a GOD!

Good luck man!

1) Pick up a bargain at the auction (this bit relies on you knowing a good car at a good price when you see one)
2) Run it for 3 weeks.
3) ....
4) Profit (If you did step 1 correctly.)

steal a car and hope you dont get caught for 3 weeks ;)
finding a bargin via auction maybe your best bet tho, dont be picky about the car as in make & model aslong as its a cheap & chearful you should get one easy as you wont be looking for something inparticular which would limit what you buy.
