Hi all,

In the last two weeks the upgrade bug took a strong hold of me and i gave in, selling my 4770K system and deciding instead to have a look at Haswell E:D

Spec

Gigabtye X99 UD4 http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-513-GI&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=2875 having a few issues with this board at present, really not impressed so my intentions are to return it and get the SOC instead.

Corsair Vengeance LPX 2800Mhz http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-408-CS&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=2557

I'll be also getting a few other items after payday including the Phanteks Enthoo Luxe in black

Anyway, not much of a build log yet, I'll i've got the SOC and Luxe before doing a bigger log.

For now, this is how the system looks, love how the yellow looks with the board, so will either keep it like that or maybe go Orange when i get the SOC.

Cheers bud,

Tbh i'm not really sure where the problem lies, it's still very early days which makes it difficult to narrow down if it's a hardware issue or software.

I'm going to wait a few days before deciding what to do, but will probably swap it out for the SOC or Rampage if it stock.

Cheers for all the comments guys :),

Confused as to which way to go, the SOC looks amazing, i'm not a huge fan of the bios on these Gigabyte boards if i'm honest.

The only think stopping me getting the Rampage is the colour scheme... Red and black has been done to death now.
