What do you guys think?

Anything I can improve on?

Being small wasn't a necessity, but the Antec Three Hundred is just about the best AND cheapest case around for everyday use.

Oh, it will be used for Photoshop / premiere and browsing the net.

Anything I can bring down the price on?

Do you realy need the floppy/card reader, that will save £23.00, part from that looks pretty good.

Well, it's going to be for my mum, and she likes her digital camera and ****.

So I thought she'd rather have an internal than external.

(She has an internal on the laptop she uses currently)

I would get this. You have a much better CPU and graphics are a tad better and silent.
I would get the internal card reader either at a later time, or get it off an auction site cheaper. Or just put an extra £20 in for it..

Best part purchase I made last year, i.e. card reader. Saves a lot of hustle since many camera pass through me from friends, family, etc. So I'd say go for it, but maybe not at that price... The Akasa (here) is significantly cheaper though no floppy part ;)

Onboard GFX for that mobo are not that bad. Drop the 8400 GS is what I'm suggesting :)

Wow. Thanks for the heads up on the Card reader. And do you really think that for £25 it would be worth dropping the GPU?

If anything it's going to take strain off the CPU when photoshop etc are open.

Just realised, I have an old 7600GS lying around which I can shove in it. Problem solved.

If your going with the antec NSK 3480 M-atx case id suggest getting yourself two silent 92mm fans for the front intake as its quiet cramped. and could get hot without proper airflow.
It is a really good case tho for the price and tiny too.
And make sure your Optical drive is SATA as its a nightmare to fit an IDE up into the PSU compartment

Thanks.

I guess I'll add two 92mm fans then.

And it is SATA, but thanks for the heads up.
