Well I have been looking at some fans but cannot make a decision, at the moment I have 4 xigmatek 120mm the orange ones on my EK 240 rad in push pull, not really impressed with them and the noise is a little much even at 1000 rpm.
Was going to replace them with Cooler master sickle flow but I am not too sure if they are really the right choice.
Am also looking for blue led fans really, but good for radiators and within a budget of £8 a fan so such as Gentle typhoons are out.

Was also looking at getting a couple of fan shrouds and just using push but would it be as good as push pull with the right fans?

So far I have found a few fans which are

Are any of them suitable or should I be looking at something else, need as quiet as possible so they will be on a fan controller as PC is on desk next to me, any help is appreciated:)

Also liking the Apache Vipers, would 2 of them with shrouds suffice?

The ek rads are fairly low fpi at 11 so does not need tons of static pressure to push air through. I have some of the 120mm uv blue d12sl fans on my case and they work great and are very cost effective at about £4.50 each, i use the 140mm version on my 9fpi sr1-420 rad to good effect for near silent running. Pic of the 120's in the roof, the led's dim as the fan speed is reduced :)

Sickleflow are good fans, just don't expect them to be quiet at 2000rpm.
Also best to mount them horizontally becasuse of the Sleeve Bearings

So that's a vote for the Sickleflow, unfortunately I have to have them vertical as the rad is in the front, I have 2 Sickleflow on the rear rad running at around the 1000 rpm mark to get them to an acceptable level of noise so would run the fronts the same, would I get less noise using fan shrouds and just one fan on the rad as opposed to push pull?

If you are no longer looking for LED fans the Zalman F3s are really good. Also Scythe Kama Flow IIs are very good if you can stretch the budget a bit more.

I have heard mixed reviews of the F12s but they are very good value for money.

Also remember the human ear is very subjective and it is not always about raw dBA level that dictates how loud a fan is to our ears :)

Yep is a very good way of doing things, I look at the quality rating before the dBA/CFM ratio. I can vouch for some of his individual assesments aswell.
