Hi guys,

I've been battling away with my reference ASUS 6950 2GB for a few years now, and it has served me well.

However, having now bought Shadow of Mordor, and with various other games popping out that might give my poor little card a hard time, i've decided it's time to UPGRADE.

I don't want to spend a chunk load of money, so Titans and such are out of my price bracket. I would be happy to go into the upper 200s for a solid card with chance of longevity.

I've had both AMD and nVidia cards in my day so I don't feel a particular allegiance.

Spec me up, and be rewarded handsomely! (with love)

Keep an eye on the MM for some 3rd party 290's like the Tri-X, as they are going for around £200.

It's all bout the 970 at that price point. The MSI being a stand-out favourite.

This.

The 970 is the best "Bang for buck" (:p) card out. MSI have a good turnaround time if you have any issues in the cards warranty period as well and runs nice and cool.

With your budget, i'd be looking at the 970, see link for plenty of info on said card.
