I remember owning the "original" dragon case from Chieftec - I would hazard a guess that it was back in 1997/1998

I wouldn't call all of them as classic but xA-01 serie is definitely such.

are they fully 120mm fans? And stainless steel I guess or alu?

That £95 one looks massive! Shame about the door handle, it'd stop you chopping out a decent window tbh.

i remember lugging one to a lan only to find 4 cans of beer in the bottom

I had a green (was only colour in stock)Full tower Chieftec Matrix - exactly the same as dragon, but had lines across the door and below. Always thought it looked better. Still got it somewhere.

There are cases with bigger depth but in height Chieftec maxi towers are biggest.

Dragon was "D"-serie.
Names of these series are Bravo (BA-01), Uni (BA-02) and Mesh (CA-01)
And they do weight.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the Alienware link that these cases have - the Chieftec Dragon was one of the cases that the early Alienware systems used - I remember seeing the Alienware systems built into lime green Chieftec Dragons, and wanting one so bad! In the end I settled for an Antec 1080AMG (arguably better, but grey!) that I built myself.

Good to see Chieftec back in the market, these cases look a little sparse feature-wise compared to more contemporary designs though.
