hey guys.

i'm playing through the ra2 campaign but i am so used to playing skirmish games and online at the fastest setting that the campaign feels so slow and sluggish and i really can't deal with it. :D

unlike skirmish, there is no slider to change the game speed, but according to the site in the following link, you can change this by editing a command line.

'The following switches can be applied to ra2.exe from a command line to achieve certain functionalities:'

-SPEEDCONTROL
Allows changing game speed in campaign mode (when you pause the game, the Game Speed slider in Game Controls window will be visible). Normally it is only possible for non-campaign modes.

what is this and how do i do it? thanks :)

Create a desktop shortcut for RA2.exe

right click it - go to properties.

When the dialog box opens go to shortcut tab and in the Target box add the following to the end of the text:

-SPEEDCONTROL

Should say something like : "C:\Program Files\Red Alert 2\RA2.exe" -SPEEDCONTROL (guessing where RA2.exe is)

Should work then when double clicking

ps3ud0
