So one day I experimented and I decided to melt margarine and mix it through some flour and sugar while the margarine was still hot and made it into cookie like shapes.
I then put them in the oven while the mix was still warm until they all turned golden brown.
They tasted like short cake biscuits when the cookies finally cooled down.
( they are soft until they cool and easily fall apart so I don't touch them now until they have cooled down and turn solid when I make them. they are very crumby though and would be lovely with some hot melted apples with cinnamon)
So have I discovered the recipe for shortcake biscuits ?
Just made them one day when bored and thought I'd get no real worth while result.
how wrong I was, they are tasty
I added a quarter cup of sugar.
1 cup of flour
1 cup of the hot melted margarine and added flour as needed the mix tends to be very crumbly.
