2 for me - it has the most going on in the foreground. I'd have perhaps gotten down reeallll low and looked for interesting silhouettes.

Skies are lovely though.

nice work, I've been chasing that style shot of a fencepost for a while and haven't got a decent result yet. I'd be tempted to punch up saturation and play in photoshop to get a really vivid sky (cheating but spectacular)

Still, their all nice work, 3 is a little bland without a subject but technically good all the same. hoodmeister has it right, I'd have looked to get quite low down and found some interesting subjects...

Thanks for the comments, i noticed out of my bedroom window that there was a great sunset, but really i was 30mins too late, didn't have time to check over the area for framing potential. I agree a lower shot for numbers one an two would have worked better, but there was a huge drop where the pics were taken, so getting lower down would have more than likely cancelled out the sky's potential.

I think i'm getting better though..Practice makes perfect

I flipped shot No 1 horzontally, then cropped it so that the perpendicular post was to the left of the shot. I left a small margin above and below the perpendicular post and a large area to the right (almost to your margin) to make it as if the horizontal stump of the post was pointing to the West....

I'd up-load it if I knew how to do it.

I was pleased with the result.
