blazing sunshine and a lightly swaying young corn field... IR!

Only took two shots. Was too hot for me in that field!

I prefer the first to the second. I liked the perspective of the second, but in practice I feel there isn't enough contrast between the foliage.

very very nice mate. Some might say the 2nd is blown but I say beautiful!! I love how white the whites are in you're IR work. Loving both of them mate.

Agreed. That's the IR I prefer too. Its annoying that its lens dependant.

I get the same results with all my lenses, just so long as I'm using an 87 filter. An 89B (Hoya R72) doesn't produce as crisp whites.

So you guys prefer the second one, then?

Really? Damn Nikons :( I get different results with different lenses. I do prefer the composition in the 2nd but the highlights do seem to be a bit blown out in the centre.

I find that the exposure times can vary a smidge from lens to lens (I'm guessing that's down to different coatings, some must be a little IR opaque) - but not different colours etc.

I think I pushed the highlights a bit on the second, I think I'll reprocess it and not push so hard :)
