Hi guys.
Just had a couple of weird things pop up in Metro. Turned my resolution down from 6028 to 1920 for some testing, and the aspect ratio went rather weird, like it was just compressing the image widthways.

After messing about with the resolution some more the game just crashed. Just like that. And EA Download manager went with it.

Rig as in sig, but had no end of problems with my GFX cards, any ideas?

If you normally run at '6028' that's a pretty strange resolution that presumably must be a multiple monitor setup, and unless my Maths is failing me it must be some kind of portrait+landscape mix as it doesn't split neatly into a typical resolution when divided by 2/3/4/5/6. What is the actual resolution you were using before and after (including vertical dimension)?

If you're running at 1920*1080 split across 3 screens it is definitely going to look squashed vertically because that's effectively 640*1080 per screen. If you're just using a single screen then it might be worth checking FOV setting if you changed that for the triple monitor setup.

Didn't touch the fov when I changed the resolution, only playing fullscreen on one screen, still getting these problems lol, need to get metro working to make sure my gpu's are performing up to standard, think my asus may be an RMA case :(

tbh I'd be tempted to delete local files and re-download it with steam if I was you. sounds like some config probs that are not going away!

Surely it's better to just delete the config files rather than redownloading the entire game? Most games will auto-generate the configs when they are deleted, so saves your bandwidth.

6028*1080, triple monitor eyefinity setup with bezel correction. Turned it down to 1920*1080.

Had another mess around, no luck :(

lol no wonder you just turned it from a 3 monitor ress to 1 monitor ress and kept the vertical.

for that to not be squashed you'd need your vertical to be only 300 or so :p
