I haven't touched the MIT options in the BIOS yet. It's all set to auto. Does that mean the RAM is running at 800mhz and the FSB speed will be the full 1333?

Also, whats the best way to start overclocking it. As i'm a beginner I don't really fancy doing too much. Maybe just a little to start with!

Many thanks for taking the time to read.

Normally your cpu will be running at an FSB of 333 x 4 = 1333 FSB
only your ram wil be underclocked at 333 X 2 = 667 Mhz
you can set the FSB of the cpu to 400 so that you get an 1600 FSB, and the ram will follow to 400 X2= 800 Mhz.
In the bios check the ram timmings and voltage in order that they're ok meaning i think standard for kingston, 1.9Volt and timming 5-5-5-15

Thanks mate. How would i go about doing that? The only thing i've overclocked before is a graphics card and that was just using Nvidia Control Panel!

Is it easy?

its the divider meaning if your FSB is running at 333, your ram running at 400
tables of multiplication. 83 * 4 = 333 and 83 * 5 = +/- 400
