Firstly, I'll preface this by saying thanks to everyone on these forums for providing me with a lot of reading over the last few weeks as I've been pondering what to build myself now that I'm back at work, and since I've not built anything in ~10 years (still rocking a Barton core Athlon XP) it's been a lot of catching up!
Currently I'm looking at the first steps in an ongoing process of saving some money, then spending it on shiny things, to this end I have mainly been looking at cases to start with, since everything else has to nestle comfortably inside of one.
So far, I've looked into nearly all the large cases available here at Overclockers and, while there are a few that I quite like by their appearance, they seem a little lacking when it comes to what I want out of them, which is mainly a cavernous interior with plenty of scope for future upgrading.
With that said, I've found myself drawn to one in particular, that being the Silverstone Temjin TJ11, as it has pretty much everything I'm looking for regarding size, features, and ease of installation.
I'm not a fan of the window though, and while I've noticed there are non-windowed panels for some of the other Silverstone cases sold here, I've yet to spot one for this particular case, do they even exist? Or is there a version of the case without the window I could get hold of?
On another note, I'm looking to set this system up with quite a bit of storage once I get everything together in the funds department, so while the 6 drive bays already available will suffice to start with, I'll be needing more eventually, once again a quick look around found me the Silverstone HDD Expansion Kit which, although it states compatibility with the Kublai range, looks like it would fit the TJ11 (or any other case, for that matter), anyone have any experience with one?
