Ok i'm going to start trying to OC my 3770k next week when my replacement motherboard arrives, i just want to make sure i have the correct idea as the only Ivy Bridge guides i have found are labled up for liquid nitro cooling. constructive criticism welcome.
Step one up the multiplyer until system goes unstable
step two up v core a smidge until stable.
rinse repeat untill temps get too high. (running aida64 to load and test stability)
Ok so assuming thats right what temps should i be looking for to know i've gone far enough with my cooling solution?
should i be playing with the vccpll to try and drop temps or is this for the LN cooling people?
One last thing i have a HIS7850 with ITurbo is it the same sort of thing, up clock untill unstable then up volts? and again what temps should i be calling it a day at assuming temp is the indecator.
