A couple of quick questions

Ok, I got a bit bored today and deicded to OC my system.
I currently have my e8600 at 4ghz and 1600fsb Idle = 33c load = 50-52c
Is this safe enough to leave running like this? ran prime earlier for about 30 minutes and nothing went wrong.

Also I realised my RAM was running at 800mhz instead of the 1066mhz it can run at, I changed the settings and now its 1066mhz.
The timings on the site say this ram runs at 5-5-5-18 but i set it to 5-5-5-15 by mistake (still runs fine) Is this better to leave like this or back to 18?

Run prime/intel burn test overnight to make sure it ok.
What ram you got?...just link it

Is the ram I have. Ill leave prime on tonight and hope it doesnt burn down my house lol

I take it that timings are ok? was gonna try 5-5-5-12 because I read that lower is better? but I dunno how it would effect it.

Should run 5-5-515 without too much trouble, it;s not that much tighter than stock.

As long at temps don't go over 65C and vcore doesn't go over 1.35v you're ok

Aim for 4.5ghz I would say though
