After talking to the guy and wanting somethign a bit more sensible :p than that jacked up blazer and something with a bit more cool I just bought this

1980 Chevy C10 long wheelbase pickup
350 (5.7ltr) chevy v8 small block
Holley 4 barrel carb
eldebrook headers
RWD 3 speed auto
new wings and doors
new bed off an ex military pickup
ZERO rust!
Funky satin black paint (bit rough but tre cooool)
UBER rare RHD model

She needs new door and window seals and a wire soldering onto the pasenger headlight and the enterior is original so a bit tatty but I am digging the bench seat!

Going to order the seals then she is getting a full interior retrim and maybe a respray in satin/mat black to tidy her up, then I will look into fitting a different box (4speed if possible or worth while) and throw some money at the engine or do a swap out to a pretuned one. I just love the idea of the funky oldschool pick up look but with some poke under the hood (I think a 1980 350csb is 275bhp anyway?)

All for a bargin (IMO) £1600!

Anyhoo pictures of my new toy

Not an Aussy import per chance, mine originally came in from the land down under and is a R/H drive

Looks good, and a nice unstressed 350 should go on for miles, easy to get parts for and easy to tune :D

Love it!

I'd stick with the existing paintjob - that way you don't have to worry about it being keyed, it just improves the overall hardness-factor of it!

Can we have some pics of the interior and under the hood?*

*with or without bakery-related-products :p

Sweet!

If I see you driving it about town, I'll give you a beep and thumbs up. So if you see a silver 5 series do this - it's me!

That thing is bloody fantastic. It's even better than my Suprashed and that's saying something. :D

Thanks for all the comments I am dead chuffed totaly different to everything I have owned befor but probably the most cool :)

got it off flebay fro a guy in essex, he is also a fellow m3 nut, he got some front page magazine action with his stripped e30 with an e36 lump in it.

Pics of the lump and interior will come once I pick it up
