Later this week i'll be traveling down to London with a few mates to see Blur at hyde park.

We'll have a spare day so looking for recommendations for places to go/eat/drink(i.e pubs :p)

I'm doing exactly the same :) Heading down Thur morning, going back Sun.

I've never been before for pleasure, we're going to the Sea Life Center, National History Museum and London Eye (kerr-ching!).

If it's a nice day, take a boat trip from Westminster Pier - you'll get to see the London Eye, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, MI5 offices and more in one fell swoop. The London Eye is also a must see.

Eating/Drinking wise, head towards Leicester Square/Piccadilly Circus. Avoid the more obvious places and stroll a few streets back into Chinatown - there's a multitude of fantastic restaurants there.

For drinks, The Old Surgeon (just off Leicester Square, its on the street behind the big casino on the square) or Waxys (labrythine Irish pub - O'Neills on steroids).

Or head to Covent Garden for the cafes and street entertainers. Avoid the Punch and Judy as it's a tourist hellhole and go to the Maple Leaf (street behind Pizza Hut) or the Porterhouse - both are quality establishments.
If you still have time, Camden Town is worth a look, or take a stroll around Hyde Park itself.

I really want to give this place a try

Ice Bar

Its not worth it, but then again I can say that as I've tried it.

You put on stupid coats and stand in a literal ice bar for about 30mins, you get two 'cocktails' which are basically not much more than a shot glass measure at the most served in a block of ice - for £15 - may have gone up.

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone tbh.
