(Yes it is faux TS)

I don't give a crap whether the TS is fake or not, its used well here and simply works.

They aren't just your average portraits either and simply by looking at these I can you see think a lot about your grandparents.

The only thing I would have liked is a little bit of narrative explaining why each shot was taken but that's nit picking and this is a great idea executed really really well.

Thanks for sharing.

Exceptionally poignent mate, i don't actually think a narrative is required.....the pics speak for themselves.
Truly fantastic, be proud of yourself.

Lovely set that will mean a lot to you for years to come. Photography like this is what makes photography so great :)

Incredible set! Really enjoyed looking through, with some really stunning and well thought out shots/portraits! :)

It's technically very good and I can see what you are trying to do (I see it a lot in other photographer's blogs), the set as a whole is good but with a few too many duplication and fillers and some photos can be dropped in order to give more impact to the set as a whole.

Minor point, may I ask the fake TS? Never seen it in your photos before and why all the sudden use of it?

Thanks guy's, yesterday was quite an emotional day. My Grandmother obviously isn't well, and it gave me the opportunity to get a few important things off my chest before it's too late and that I would never otherwise be able to bring myself to vocalise, yet would kick myself forever if I didn't.

Brilliant set, the second to last shot (colour portrait) of your Nan really moved me, all the processing works well.

Best of luck to your Nan.

Without wanting to cause offence, your Grandparents don't really feature heavily enough in the shots, despite it being a 'day in the life' of them. I would've expected photos of them doing stuff, their daily chores, highlighting their difficulties in moving (perhaps), coping, etc.

That does sound heavily critical, but I'm not really getting a feel as to what they actually get up to, you know? Please don't take offence.

^^^
No offence taken. I didn't actually have much time there as I had to get back for a client meeting, but tbh it wouldn't of mattered, I wasn't going to hound them or ask them to do anything. My grandad does what he always does when there is a guest. He sit's down, has a chat, not much else to show.

Also looking at how some of the shots are presented here, is there something being held back for this months comp? :D
