Me! :D

I'm currently at home in Ireland on a holiday from work and have been spending my days relaxing and farting around, with the occasional 'swalley' thrown in for good measure. Today was one of those excelent days with nothing spectacular, I cannot explain it with words so hopefully the few pictures I took will do it justice. I should have had my camera out more as the vast majority of todays activities weren't captured :(

First, we went a did a spot of hunting with the dogs. I was too busy handling the dogs so didn't get any shots of them but I did get this cow on the walk back through the fields...

To celebrate a successful bit of hunting we went to the bar for a few pints of Guinness. Some good friends of mine were getting a seisiún into full swing which was mind blowing! Two of Ireland finest banjo players and Gerdy on the guitar, it made my night.

After staggering the mile walk back to my da's house across the fields we lit a bonfire and finished the night off nicely.

That was a brief part of my day in pictures. I don't expect to get any good comments as I was half cut when taking them but whilst they may not be technically anything special, they'll be printed out and stuck into a photo album to remind me of a great day.

C&C is welcome.

I know this is such a trivial thing but I dislike the borders; not sure what it is about them though, I think it might be because the white is over 1pixel wide it looks less defined and doesn't border the photo very well in my honest opinion. Don't know why, but I just had to say that.

Bonfire photo looks atmospheric, they're just for memory photos. moo. :)

Scuzi....

I had previously thought that Magners was a foul chemically treachury foisted upon us by marketing evildoers.

From one of your photos (love the cow BTW) it appears as though the Irish actually drink it as well !

How long has it been around in Ireland - I always thought it was a new fangled thing ?

i love the third photo, the colours are so deep and vibrant, the composition is really balanced aswell.

Fantastic photo.

The cow shot is fantastic. Great colours in there. I'm also intrigued by the Magners drinking? :p
