Drove up to OC yesterday and bought an i7 2600K, P8P67 Mb, G.skill Ripjaw RAM and a Corsair A50. Logged on today to find the CPU is £30 cheaper and they have Sabertooth MB's in stock! This is why I don't do the lottery or dabble in shares. Anyway, followed many guides and have the new setup stable at 4.6 Ghz, 1.3 Vcore and temps no higher than 55 under load so I'm happy with that. The RAM is set at 6 8 6 24 1600MHz.

A few issues with the MB, updated to latest bios from ASUS website which was/is 1053 beta (for P8P67). I can't seem to resolve an 'unknown device' in Device Manager despite installing all the Asus supplied drivers and then updating. Anyone come across this? Also, when I connect a USB 2 powered hub to any USB 2 connector on the back panel, the bios does not recognise the USB keyboard and I can't get into the Bios although eventually the OS picks it up when it asks for my W7 password. I've done a bit of searching but haven't found anything yet. Overall though, very happy.

With my P8P67 pro I was able to use the ASUS InstallAll driver utility from the CD to resolve all device manager warnings. I think in my case the unknown device was the intel management driver?

Not had any problems with the USB ports. I have a G110/MX518 combo running off a single USB 2 port, but the G110 does not act as a powered hub.
