Might be the wrong forum BUT im sure its the best palce to ask PC gamers about decent headsets

I've had numerous logitech ones that were OK

250 model earphones snapped off
350 model just went super quiet all of a sudden

Had a few others that were poor

So... Any decent ones for like £30-£50?

I just looked at that one and read the reviews

hmmm considering that, nice price too :)

Anybody else recommend?

Aye sennheiser are supposed to top notch but a little expensive

And yea logitech ones are baaaad and overpriced for what they are

This fatality one looks like the one to buy

I used to own a sennheiser, the fatality ones good for gaming. But no where near as good as sennheiser for music.

2nd for the creative fatality headset, very good quality.

If your looking for USB connection I had a set of plantonics dsp500 for about 3 years+ that were awsome untill they finally drowned in a pool of beer.

Sennheiser HD595's
Fell in love with mine again recently when the creative XFI Audio console was released for Vista. Now with added base etc - god it's good to have hearing ;)

dont mind my medusas, but they are getting old now and arent even anymore, worth shooting for senny 161s?

call me crazy but im skeptical of anything with wendels name plastered all over it

sennies are the best, they make all the best headphones so id go with them.
never new you could pay ten grand for a pair off there top end ones though :eek:haha the guy testing them was listening to someones voice on them and turned round to see who was speaking to him ahaha.

Im also looking around for a good gaming headset - does anyone have any experience of the 5.1 headsets available on OCUK?
I have the medusa's. I briefly commented on them before, I guess I should go into more detail:

They suck.

I was very tempted to leave it at that :p But il explain. The surround effect is completely unconvincing, the speakers are way too close together to really have any sense of direction. Plus you really need both ears to locate a sound in a room, but each ear is in a cup.

The sound quality is somewhat reduced for some reason when you are outputting to 5.1, the quality isn't too bad if you just output in stereo. I haven't bothered with outputting in surround for months now.

The mic is cool, itl bend and position anywhere you need it, and it can be removed. The sound quality is good too, or at least it would be if it hadn't broke for no good reason.

Its a shame to spend so much cash just to neglect the products USP. So do yourself a favour, buy a good stereo pair instead.
