Hi,

I'm looking for 2 decent QHD or 4k 23-27 inch screen with usb C for under £200?
I have a student account if needed.
Any suggestions?

Thanks,

That's a bit of a steap ask really. You haven't said you want high refresh thankfully as that's in the region of £700-£1000 right now ...but even without it, to get a 'decent' 4K 60hz office monitor with USB type-C for that ...I don't think so. I did see some around Black Friday dropping to close to around the £300 mark. You actually can get some decent 27 inch models 'without' USB-C around the £300 mark, a little under even, LG have some. But adding type-c really bumps the cost up to the £400 mark, such as the LG 27UN83A which is £400. It does look like you can get the Dell S2722QC which is 4K with type-c with a pretty good discount right now, still going to cost over £300 with VAT though unless you can perhaps get a bigger discount for being a student.

And to be clear, I took your budget as per screen, I realise you asked for 2.

Hi Moeks,
Yes, one screen costing under £200.

This will mainly be for office work.
I did pick up a QHD Samsung with 2 USB c last year but it seems everything has gone up in price.
The Lenovo 23.8 inch is £230 but with student discount under £200 with usb c. Maybe this is the one to get.
Thanks,

Well, if you can use 4k on a 24 inch panel you have better eyes than me, or you have a nose mount for it :p …personally I find 4k on a 27 inch a bit much also, at least to really leverage the advantages of a 4k desktop as I need 150% scaling but if you think you’ed be ok with it then sure, why not.

oh I just realised you said QHD aswell, I don’t really speak that language but I believe that is 1440p or 2560x1440 as we used to say, which would certainly give you more options, even then though I think you might struggle a bit with that price and spec combination
