A Dual GPU Fermi card

will Nvdia make a dual gpu card based on fermi? That would be hot!

They might have to do something similar like ATI did with the 5970, downclock it a bit.

If they stick within the pcie2 spec, like the 5970, they will have to downclock it an awful lot to achieve 300W

Not a chance as it stands IMO. I think on 40nm the best you'll get is a dual-chip solution with something like the GTX450, which is pointless as it would be around the performance of the GTX480.

It's going to need the 32nm refresh IMO.

More likely to see a 3rd party like gigabyte or asus developing one imo - nVidia have never been ones for the innovations in cooling and power supplement required. Likely it will be too late and too expensive to have much impact on the market.
