It is over priced atm i would say £350 would be a fair price, goes the old thing peeps been saying, i don't want wireless as my router is 3 inces from the 360, don't need charge and play as i have plenty of rechargeable batteries, live gold i got for £25 of fleebay and picked up gow/lost planet for £48 new the pair of there.

I also picked up a 360 of a m8 for £150, with tdu,kameo,pgr3,tombraider memory card, vga cable, hd cable and 2 wireless controlers, for me thats way better atm, maybe end of the year the ps3 will have some decent games and the prices come lower then i will get one for sure.

I think atm the 360 is better as its got far better games lineup as expected its been out longer, i can't see any reason to be a early adopter of the PS3.

Uh, I was taking the mickey. There's a lot of people trying to justify the high price in that way, without realizing that, well, you can't get them separately. You're still paying a hefty price for the console.

The PS3 blows out even more heat by the way. If it's facing you, why don't you put you hand against the right side of it. That's far far far hotter than my PC even (which is no slouch).

If the Xbox 360 doesnt have a HD DVD player, then how is it going to play HD disc formats?

then why the hell did you buy one, the price is to high you say...well you bought one. Yes it is true the ps3 kicks out more heat, but hey there is more in the box and atleast you can't hear it expelling the heat.

I agree ps3 costs a lot, I personally think it is worth it but if anyone thinks that the extras aren't worth it and it costs to much simple solution don't buy it, but in a perverse way I do think a lot of the people complaining about the price are some of the ones who really want it.
