Right i somehow need to hook up 4x120mm viper fans to one channel

Problem being vipers are 4 pin Pwm and the only splitter cable i can find is for 3 pin fans

I thought i could maybe somehow solder the wires from all 4 fans together

my idea was to remove the PWM wire from all 4 fans

remove the Green tachometer wire from 3 of the fans

Solder all the 12v and ground wires together to the plug which still has the tach wire on it

reason being is i think if i soldered 4 tach wires together it would possibly confuse the readout on the fan controller so by only having 1 tach wire for four fans i still get an accurate readout for all of them , roughly speaking

Well i'll be damned i did not see that 5 way version

i already have 2 of the 3 way version but for some reason they don't work if you link them together

Will grab one now :)

Neither did I 'til someone pointed it out to me. Now when someone asks for one, thats the first thing I link to :D

These things look great :) Would I be able increase and decrese the fan speed of all my case fans like I can with my cpu fan now? Or do all the fans have to be the exact same?

They have to be 4 pin PWM fans.

Their the very small connectors arnt they, similer to the one's used on CPU fans. Ya all my fans have those as well as the usual molex connector. I think I'll get one of those the next time I buy a few things from overclockers because it would be great to change the speed of the fans other than just the CPU cooler's fan :)
