A favour to ask of Zalman MFC1 plus owners.

Afternoon OcUK. I just dug out my old Zalman MFC1 plus fan controller but there's no sign of the power lead. The port on the PCB has 4 pins so I'm assuming these correlate to the 4 wires in a molex adapter - I don't remember the power lead having any other gubbins.

Could some kind soul please post a clear picture of the power lead so I may attempt to solder on a molex plug.

Google just reveals stock images which aren't clear enough.

Zalman haven't responded to my requests either.

I really don't want to have to abandon this thing

Hope these help.. ignore the crossed wiring of the black and red, guess when mine was made they did'nt spot that, but atleast it goes to the correct sockets lol.

So its basicly a mini to normal molex.

Amazing, thanks very much! I remembered it being something like that but didn't want to risk guessing wrongly and breaking anything.

I'll warm the soldering iron in preparation...

No probs, glad to be of help, hope ur fix works for you, as yeh would be a shame to lose a good controller.
