Evening all, here are a few shots from Duxford today. The photos were taken with a Panasonic FZ10.

One thing I find quite hard is taking photos of flying aircraft, the shots never come out sharp or with much detail :(

Here's a small selection, the collection of photos is available from here:

Some really nice images you have taken :)
I went on Saturday and found taking flying aircraft really hard...a skill to develop that is for sure.

nice work :)

Very nice pictures of the static aircraft. I think you will probably find taking good pics of the planes in the air a challenge with the FZ10. a lot of people even struggle with DSLR's!

I went last year, but this year I watched most of the display this year from my back garden as I had a car to fix :(.

Here are some very good pics on another forum:

Man, I need a LOT more practise! those pics on the other site are just stunning. Picked a superb spot to shoot from.

Oh and is it just me or is the guy in the Mr Bean shot above the spitting image of Donald Sutherland in Kellys Heroes?

He was lucky and managed to get a position airside. The best place us mere mortals can shoot from at Duxford is from the bank behind the land warefare hall at the far west hand end of the airfield...
