A few from our back garden today

Was a nice day, let my daughter run around the garden whilst I grabbed my camera and snapped away.

Considering they literally were all snaps with my 300D and the kit lens, I am quite please with them. Hope you enjoy!

I'm no gardener, so I cannot name this flower

Not thread hijacking; I just think those flowers (?) in your first pic are very photogenic, I had a go last summer for my photography course

Not sure if it is monkey puzzle tree - I thought these had wacky twisty trunks and this doesn't - it is actually the neighbours but it comes over our side...gets me everytime I do the lawn!

If it is monkey puzzle, it is at least 75ft away from house!

Mikharper: I like your version, great dof. I may go back out there sometime and take the macro with me to see what I get.
