Anything interesting at Waddington this year?
Kind of hoping that there's some good Russian kit there.

Simon/~Flibster

That was the only drawback this year (Its on again today Sunday BTW) if you fancy going. No Russion fighters there at all but the show was outstanding and well worth the £16 entrance fee. :)

Thanks all for the positive feedback, It makes a long day out well worthwhile..;)

Back on topic I was browsing through yesterdays pictures and found this factor this morning...

When I looked at the original picture here below I thought it was quite sharp but then when zoomed in I could actually count the rivets on the cockpit window, Not bad for the distance and still flying at that.. :p

Thats bloody good. What lens were you using?

Thanks Simon..

1DMkII with a Canon 300mm f/2.8L
350D using both a 16-35mm Wide angle and my 135mm f.2 prime.

The above shot with the cockpit rivets was taken with my 350D and the 135mm prime.. :)

Exif details are embedded in all the images.. :)

The Harrier had developed a technical fault & all it managed to do was take off & land straight away.

Are you sure you went on Sunday, Thats the exact thing it did on Saturday.

The only let down of the show as far as I was concerned because the Harrier does an incredible display.. :)
