Visited here today and was absolutely mesmerized by it. It's a fantastic setting and a fitting memorial to our fallen, if like me you have a family connection or you are just interested then I can't recommend a visit enough.

From a photography point of view it was quite challenging to try and get shots without lots people in them as it was very busy, so fortunately the 10 stopper together with some cloning has helped.

Did you shoop the people out or was there nobody there? It was pretty crowded when we went.

Edit: nvm, just read the second line!

Hehe, yeah it was a mix of timing, cloning and exposure time that's resulted in no people in the shots.

It was absolutely rammed and I struggled to park, for the Cenotaph shots (which were the ones I wanted) I waited until mid afternoon when it had calmed down then stuck the 10 stopper on for both of them which got rid of most of the people there.
