I do like the 2 gig shots, but the other three really aren't doing anything for me, I'm afraid. Apart from anything else, all 3 look a good bit underexposed and a little flat. I think they'd all, the last one especially, benefit from a quick levels/curves tweak in PS.

it's masshouse(?) in birmingham.

They don't look as good in browsers as they do locally - the colours look a bit washed out to me, but locally they look a bit dull. I hate web browsers filtering colour

Have you used 2nd curtain flashes for the gig photos?. Personally I think they look pretty decent. I would probably go for a bit more colour in the skin on the first one, and probably point the flash higher (if it's external) as it looks like an onboard flash jobbie. The brum ones I'm not big on composition wise, the last one being the best though imo.

it's front curtain flash, and it's pointed directly at them because the ceiling was really high and it wasn't getting the right effect - skin tonal problems could be corrected but the guy has quite pale skin anyway.

my favourites of the birmingham ones is the last one - there's not really a lot of *wow* architecture in birmingham, which is annoying!
