Evening all!

My sister was going hacking today on her horse and I decided to go with the camera to take some pics of her riding, as she's been wanting some for awhile anyway...

Here's what I took, would love some C&C was using a Canon 55-200mm USM (can't remember the F number) - All of these were shot at ISO100 - 1/200 - f/8.0

These were the best out of 200 or so, and considering I've never really shot a fast moving target before (was moving 40mph+) I was pleased with myself, plus these were all handheld.

I can see faults with each one, but want to know what you all think, these were all shot in JPEG and have not been edited in anyway at all and are seen as shot.

Enjoy!

EDIT: By that 5th shot I had walked/ran about 5miles and I'm not the fittest guy in the world and was absolutely knackered

I really like them, good job with keeping up. Last ones prob my favourite. A hard choice for shutter speed in my opinion, it's nice to show the movement with a bit of motion blur, but a faster shutter speed would show the horse and rider in more detail. Cool. Kyle

Nice set of photos, no.5 could be made into an absolutely cracking shot with a little post processing :)

Indeed :)

Going to be working on this tomorrow, anyone can feel free in the mean time, was a big experiment to be afterall - at the minute I'm building bridges :o

Maybe something like the following? I feel the tight crop works.

Personally I would have the main subject in the bottom right corner. :)
