A few games pausing before loading??

I noticed a few of my games started pausing for a few secs before loading them, I think its a ati bug. Ive tried updated my drivers from 6.09 to the latest ones but games are no diiff.

This happened once bfore when I first got my x1900 card, when I installed the drivers, But I fixed the pausing prob by uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, but this time that isnt working.. plz help someone
 
Maybe its just your lack of system ram, causing games to page to disk when you first load them?
 
I mean nothing happens no hdd active or anything,,, then after 5 secs or so it decides to load. Im sure its something todo with the ati drivers...

Like its been running like a dream since september when I got the card, then all of a sudden its pausing again like it did when I first installed the card and drivers.
