Mine did 5.4 with 1.5 if that helps? (don't try this at home)

My daily was 4.7 with 1.38 though, after 2 years I needed to drop it to 4.6 with the same volts though.

Is this common? My system seems to be getting random crashes when gaming so thinking of dropping down my oc slightly to see if it fixes it.

I would say yes, chips degrade overtime, dropping the of or bumping the voltage can normally regain stability.

What BSOD code are you getting? Have you recently reseated your cooler?

Not getting any BSOD just game freezes and fans spin up with only a hard reset to fix it. Video card and ram are at stock so want to test lowering cpu abit first.
