Yes, I'm eating my words, but after trialling a few different devices for our chief exec, it appears the best device for him is an iPhone. He wanted something as simple to use as possible with a good internet experience - the HTC Hero came close but for sheer ease of use the iPhone won....

I can't see us rolling out any more though - will be sticking with Nokias for everyone else!

Few quick questions though -

- We're already using ActiveSync on 2007 through ISA 2006 with a GoDaddy cert. It's happy as larry on Nokias, WinMo and Android - I presume it will be fine on the iPhone?
- Activation, do I need to activate it with his SIM in it or can I do it with any SIM and drop his in later?
- I've ordered a PAYG iPhone 3G 8gb, we have an O2 contract - I assume I can drop his SIM into it without issue? Obviously I wont instantly get the free data but he has 3gb on there anyway and shared minutes on the contract.
- The cloud wifi thats free for iPhone users, do you need to be on an iPhone tarrif or is it based on device?
- What's best practice in terms of corporate encryption/security and what do I need to set it up?

Anything else I should know about setting it up in this sort of environment?

Thanks all!
