Before I sell the Saxo, I wanna sort some of it's issues first but need help in how to do so.

1. Handbrake

It's totally fine until you put it on any further than two notches where it's then lodged firmer than the sword of Excalibur.

2. Gear box
It can take some effort to get it into the correct gear with no 'guidance' at all and when in gear, the gear stick can still move relatively freely, meaning that when you want to change gear again, you have to first move it to the position you are already in and THEN change.

3. Clutch pedal squeak

Probably nothing big but may put off some potential buyers. Squeak every time to the clutch pedal is pressed.

Any ideas of cause and solution?

1) Unsure, should be simple enough adjustment if you take the gaitor off.

2) Gear linkages are plastic as standard. Can get metal ones from Citroen IIRC and someone could fit them in an hour or so.

3) Grease up the top of the pedal and press it a few times and grease again if necessary.
