Firstly, on the my main computer it seems that i can't run more than 1 stick of RAM, and somtimes even 1 stick of RAM causes problems - ie Stopping the DVD Drive from opening, and maybe the odd blue screen - usually fix this by putting the 1 RAM stick into another slot.

Specs of this are

E6300
DS3
2Gb (1Gb only due to mobo) PC8500 (OCZ XT Sli)
Ge 7900

And on the other computer, there is just a black screen when it boots up, everything spins but nothing comes up on the screen - dosn't post at all.

Specs of this are

AMD 3800x2 (939)
Asus A8N
2Gb Corsair XMS
2 x 7600 GT XXX

Any help appreciated, thanks.

would check you RAM is running at the correct frequency and timmings.. also check you are giving it the correct voltage.. if that doesnt solve it on the DS3 try increasing the NB voltage by a couple of notches
