Hi Guys!

Need some answers quickly as I may be ordering from OC very soon.

1) I just got my hands on some Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9. If I want 8GB in dual channel will I have to buy a whole new 8GB set in the future or can I just buy another 4GB set from OC?

2) What RAM will AMD Bulldozer support? Dual, tripple or quad channel?

3) Buying a 500GB HD. My board supports 6GB SATA, will I notice any difference over 3GB SATA?

Cheers!

1) another 4gb set will be fine, but fill up all memory slots
2) i'm pretty sure i read somewere that an AM3+ board will only support dual channel memory.
3)i'm not sure but i think that 6sata does not make much difference with hdd's. it's makes more of a difference for ssd's. if the slot is free then you might as well use it, it won't be any worse for sure.

Cheers! I know bulldozer will be a diff socket but I'm just wondering that if I did make the switch in the future would my current RAM work. I want an SSD in the future so that's good news :)

i'm really not sure about the 6sata mate.

Sounds like you're in the same boat as me though. currently got an AM3 board, but i will probably get an AM3+ when they come out and just transfer all my gear on to that and maybe get bulldozer if i feel it's a significant upgrade from a 964be.

I have the same RAM too, came in very handy when fitting an aftermarket heatsink, as it is low profile, so the Heatsink does not cover the RAM slots, they fit underneath it.:)
