A few question regarding a laptop

1- Do you think it is a fair price?
2- Is AMD Turion like Intel Celeron (i.e. less powerful than normal versions) or like Intel Centrino (laptop technology)?
3- What is GeForce Go? Is it the laptop version of normal GeForce?

1) I'll be honest, the processor is not very good, and it does seem a bit too heavy. However, for the price, you are getting a nice big screen, good graphics card and good ram.

2) AMD Turion X2 is like intel core duo. Not C2D. However, as far as i know Core duo has a better battery life system.

3) Yeah it is. The card is actually really good for the price and so you should be able to play the latest games on reasonable settings. However, i think the processor will limit you.

Hmmmm...the problem is that if I want to get a 2GHz processor the price would be around £100 higher than the original (£750) which I won't be able to afford. I don't want the computer for playing high-end games, just WoW, Guild Wars, WH40KoW, Medieval Total War II and hopefully the upcoming MMO Warhammer Online will do the job

Also the problem with laptops is that you can't really get what you want, especially if you want it for a cheap price, unlike self-setup desktops.

Well if you just want to play those games the laptop should be fine. My laptop runs WoW pretty well. its in my sig.
