X2 4200 @ 2.8 GHz Voltage in Bios: 1.525 Voltage in CPU-Z: 1.488

Idle cpu temp 38c

100% load cpu temp 48/50c

pwmic temp at cpu idle 47/49c

pwmic temp when 100% cpu load 57/60c

ok, the questions....

What kills a cpu, Too many volts or too high temp? -or both?
Are my volts and temp safe?
What is the max safe volts i can put though a 4200?
What is the max safe temp for my 4200?
What is pwmic?
Is the pwmic temp too high when cpu is at 100% load 57/60c?

Thanks to anybody that can help me :)

Thanks! so it looks like 2.8 is the best overclock i will get. I dont really want to push the volts or temp up anymore.

Still 2.8 :D happy :D

Obviously you can use more volts for water and phase, I assumed you're using air. Nice clock btw.

Thanks  yeah just using a 64 pro
