So i have never done any sort of OCing before and would like to give it a go, a few questions though...
I find it odd that the cards memory clock isn't listed on the spec of it; it says core clock, shader clock and then memory data rate. Any reason for it?
But to the OCing, i've got the system tweaks part of rivatuner open but have no idea as to where to start. As you prob know, the core clock and shader clock have the option to be linked and the memory clock is a seperate thing. So basically what do i start with???
*edit* just found this read a few more guides and got this impression from them...
"the guide i just read said to have core and shader clock speeds link
and use the scroll to move them up step by step
with me one scroll up is +12MHz on core clock and +26MHz on shader clock speed
and it just says scroll once up
launch game
test it, if its fine close game, scroll up and repeat
until it starts to artifact/hang
then when it does that go down a scroll, or to be safe go back 2"
Thanks a lot,
Flare
