Right, just a couple of quick questions about my car (1.4 SRi Corsa
)
The brakes: They're making a faint "krrkrrrrrrrkrkrrrrrr" noise when I apply pressure, although its got louder recently. I assume something wants changed there then? New brake pads? Not doing this myself, I would rather prefer to stop.
Airbox: Its making an odd sucking noise. Its pretty buggered tbh, has a crack in it, and the filter is filthy. The front pipe intake thingy is falling off too, but that just wants a screw put in. I guess I want to be replacing the filter? or should I just pull the lot out, and stick an Induction Kit in? Seems like a simple job either way, and something I could do....I'm just not sure what parts I require. Can anyone help?
Exhaust: The part where the exhaust backbox meets the centre pipe, is right above the bar that connects the two back wheels. (I can get a photo later if it would help) Now when I go over a bump, say a speedbump for example, the two bang together. How can I sort this out? Its doing my head in, as it keeps knocking off the backbox, which needs re-attaching every two weeks or so. Thankfully its easy to do.
