A few Questions..

Hey, i have a few questions that kind of span several categorys so i thought i would just post them here

1. if i wanted to get Top mounted fans for my case, i would have to remount my Cooler Facing downwards which would blow hot air towards the graphics card, would it make much difference to temps at all?

2. On Call of Duty 4 i was getting Lock Ups (Only in COD4) occasionally, usually only when i use MSI Afterburner in the background, now i dont know if this is because most servers ban "Overlays"? So i would like a way to be able to Control fan Speed as the Default Nvidia Profile seems to run it Quite hot 75C+ playing COD4, where as for the time the servers allowed me to stay in on COD4 with 90% Fan speed it was barley breaking 65C which im happy with. is there a soloution to Increase fan speed without getting Kicked from servers?

3. After changing my graphics card Counter Strike/Condition Zero and Unreal 99 only read 60fps, when even on old integrated 4250 would run 100+ for CS/CSZ and 150+ for UT, Vsync is off in Control Panel and all other games that i play read higher than 60fps via fraps, Except mafia

1) Yes, but how come? Bit odd for this to be the case

2) Speed Fan MAY be able to help out here, but really can't remember, so might want to wait for someone else xD

3) Have you changed your graphics settings by any chance? Like higher settings now? Alternatively have you made sure you uninstalled all the old graphics drivers and installed the new ones? Most people recommend a completely fresh install for a new graphics card

At the top of the case there is litteraly like 10mm or so clearence from the Top of the Fan on the cooler to the Roof of the case, speedfan dosnt change graphics cards fan Speeds i dont think? dosnt seem to even monitor the RPM's on the graphics cards fan.

I just used Driver cleaner today, may or may not have stopped the lock ups and havn't been on CS etc today yet. but i wasnt on much after i ran it so im not quite sure.
