I haven't posted in while so thought I'd share a few recent photos. I've just received a circular polariser with the view to enhancing the sky and clouds in future shots, so hopefully I will post again soon.

Great images! Love number 2 and 3. IMO, 1 and 5 could do with a tiny bit more saturation. Nice composition in all of them though. Top work.

Funnily enough, numbers 1,2 and 5 seem to have lost some saturation during the resize and JPEG conversion. They look totally different in Lightroom.

Did you put them through Photoshop to get the borders? If so, did you keep the colour profile from Lightroom?

Third is a lovely shot, great perspective in that one. The others have good composition but generally dont do a lot for me im afraid. Maybe with the circ polariser it might give them an extra kick. Third is spot on though

I love the trees shot! Question for you, what lens did you use for it? I'd be interested to know!

I wish I lived near somewhere where I could walk on hills like that!

Great shots, but as commented above, some need to be saturated a little more IMO to give them a higher initial impact.

I use the 17-40 F4 on a Canon 5D. I have just received a circ polariser so hope to get out again this weekend.

The 5 shots were taken in the following locations:

1. Anglesey
2. SW Scotland
3. Macclesfield Forest, Cheshire
4. Wales (base of horseshoe pass)
5. Off top of Shuttlingsloe, again near Macc Forest.

I tend to make long day trips...one day I'll just say 'right, I'm going to Scotland on Saturday'...I'll then set off early hours and spend the day touring.
