A few simple macbok questions for a Windows user

Still considering a Macbook

1) Does the Mac have an equivalent to a delete key? I know it has a backspace but where on erth is delete? If there isn't one then can you map one when running Windows via bootcamp/parallels/virtualbox?

2) I understand you can run Windows using Bootcamp. Does it also allow you to boot into Linux?

Off to the Apple store later today to buy my wife a new iMac. I'm very tempted to get myself a (used) Macbook.

Done! I'm currently installing all her software (CS4, etc).

27" I hope! Never skimp on the wife's iMac!

Sadly just the 21". She didn't want something too big and in all honesty we couldn't really afford this one. It was a forced purchase when her Powermac G5 died a few weeks ago. She needs it for work and while the 27" would have been nice, this one is still miles better than her old G5. Her old screen was a 19" too.


I have to say, this really is a lovely machine. I am almost certainly going to try to get a Macbook of some description by selling old components to fund it.

! Lucky! The new iMacs are amazing!

I did the same thing with my old pc to get my self a macbook pro in the summer (2 years of oggling my mates one sold it to me) BEST decision ever!
