VR is amazing, but for me not enough bigger polished titles are released (somewhat alleviated by mods or injectors such as uevr).

Thankfully, we have a wave of bigger vr titles coming over the next couple of months:

Max Mustard VR
Batman Arkham Shadow
Metro Awakening
Alien Rogue Incursion

Don't think I have ever been so excited for a new wave of vr games starting tomorrow with the pcvr release of Max Mustard on Steam.

I love platformers in vr and really wonder why more haven't been released. Lucky tale, Moss, crash bandicoot, Sackboy are really great in vr.

Fellow vr gamers, what are you most looking forwards too?

The big ones I am looking forward to are the same as yours, Batman, Metro, Alien. Hadnt heard of Max Mustard so will check that out

Half Life Alyx ruined VR games for me. Nothing comes close, they really nailed it.

I know that feeling, i've tried lots of simliar FPS games since and nothing even comes close IMO..

Good job there are lots of other types of games that I enjoy.. over and above VR FPS stylee games..

Having bought the PSVR2 on release I've barely touched it. I do feel somewhat similar to you atm though - there are a few I'm interested in coming up. Everything is already mentioned on this thread apart from the Hitman VR game - that looks really cool to me.

Single player Alyx is definitely head and shoulders above any other vr fps for full on immersion.
My highlight vr shooter moments came in doing the quests with friends in Rec room. Just so good throwing ammo to your real life friends when in a tight spot. Running over for high fives to revive. Probs in my top 3 gaming moments.
I also like Pistol Whip, but that's a rhythm shooter and not comparable to Alyx

You checked out the UEVR injector? Injects vr into most Unreal Engine games with varying degrees of success. From pretty much perfect to eye splitting bad. A few that I have played that worked great with minimum tweaks (people release profiles for games that need tweaks or enable 6dof): Jedi Fallen order, Life of Pi, Crash Bandicoot, Sackboy, Little Nightmares 1&2. Silent Hill 2 is almost there, hopefully there's a profile for some minor tweak (everything is great, except sometimes button prompts aren't visible). The downside is you will need a beefy gpu for most modern titles and dlss isn't quite there for vr yet.

I wasn't even aware that this existed tbh but it sounds insanely cool. Apart from SH2 in VR - no thanks lol!

Apparently Hogwarts Legacy is fantastic using it.

Yet to get a VR headset, but am tempted by the Quest 3s.

Why the 3s over the 3?
Will be my first foray into modern VR. Well, since the 90's truly hilarious attempts at it.

Don't see the point in getting the 3 if it's my first headset and it's not going to be used standalone so why get the 512gb storage. Plus I can get the 3s for half the price of the 3. Did think about a Quest 2, but most of the people selling Q2's around here seem to be selling them for £200 which isn't far off what I can get a 3s for.

Get the cheaper quest 3. The pancake lenses make it much more comfortable/simple… hard to explain but they are worth the extra IMO

I agree with this. The Pancake lenses are just so good on the Quest 3.

I know a quite a few people who said they were never going to use their Quest headset standalone and ended up using it more standalone than connected to a PC. There are a few games that are well worth playing standalone, like Asgard's Wrath 2 and Assassin's Creed Nexus. Batman is been released soon too.

The Quest 3 has other advantages too if you are only using it for PCVR. Higher Resolution and higher FOV with better IPD adjustment.

If money isn't an issue, the Quest 3 is well worth the extra even for PCVR only.

Picked up Max Mustard this weekend. Really polished vr platformer in the vein of Lucky Tale, but better. Although it Is essentially a game that can be played with a pad, I am happy. Just having my head inside the game world is so much more immersive than any 2d game.
