A good 4870 cooler.

I'm getting the XFX 4870 1GB Card next week.

Now I currently have a Sapphire 4850 with a Thermalright HR-05 Heatsink strapped to it. Its been flaweless since it was on my previous 8800GT and since its going in the wife's new Sims 3 machine, I am now looking for another cooler that will cut it just as well as the Thermalright.

I was looking at the Thermalright T-rad2 but unsure whether the VRM heatsinks will fit everywhere.

Has anyone had experience with the Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo or does the Arctic Cooling Accelero S1 Rev. 2 fit? Does the Arctic Cooling Accelero S1 Rev. 2 come with VRM heatsinks?

search for the trad2 and 4870 thread.

use the trad2 but keep the stock backplate

Excellent advice for the T-rad2. Interesting about using the stock backplate, especially with high VRM temps when using the heatsinks.
