I've managed to get an inch long scratch on my off side rear wheel it seems and I'd like to manually remove it as it's not majorly deep or large and looks like an easy DIY job instead of a refurb @ £75.

I've seen Halfords kit for £30 but also this at half the price which I'll be ordering unless anyone else has a recommendation on something better?

As usual if I do get it then I'll post before/after pics incase others can make use of the kit too :)

I would not bother with the Halfords kit for £30. £75 for a refurb seems pretty expensive, the going rate round here is £35 for a full wheel refurb.

I'm kind of miles away from Liverpool though :p

Ok in that case then could someone recommend a cheap allow refurber nearer my area? It's only an inch scratch but I know it's there and spot it straight away so needs to be gone considering my other wheels are spotless!

The last refurb I did was £75 on the same wheel in fact but that was a larger scrape against a high curb.
