Yep another "can you spec me a case thread"!
I'm hoping someone has some good ideas.
I'm looking for a good quality (I'm coming from a Lian Li V1000+) case, made of metal.
I don't need space for water cooling
I do want it to be as quiet as possible
Atx, Mid tower (something around 140 cm height)
No window
Budget preferably under £100

So far I liked the fractal R5 pearl design. But I don't like having a door plus the door is plastic.
I've also looked at a couple of Lian Li cases
The 10NB and one other (can't remember model)
Coming from a V1000 I know how good the build quality is with Lian Li.
Any other brands doing entirely metal cases with same build quality?

Bitfenix are releasing a full atx version of the pandora soon that might fit the bill. Although i don't think there is anything better for air cooling performance than the silverstone ft05 at this price

I found the extra weight of the FractalR4 made it a lot quieter than my lianli pc60, lian li are cool because if the aluminium but that materials lightness can be prone to vibration.

I also have come from a long serving Lian Li v1000+ case.

I went for the following,

YOUR BASKET
1 x OcUK Tech Labs - Pre Noise Dampened Case - Lian Li PC-7HA Midi-Tower Case - Silver £99.95
Total : £109.55 (includes shipping : £8.00 Ex.VAT).

YOUR BASKET
1 x Lian Li PC-7HA Midi-Tower Case - Silver £84.95
Total : £94.55 (includes shipping : £8.00 Ex.VAT).

Two quiet 140mm fans in the front, two additional 120mm fan positions on the top.

I have an air cooled FX9590 running very quietly inside. It is a normal orientation (CPU at top) compared to the v1000 case and if you get the noise dampened version as I did, there is not not much space behind the motherboard. All usual Lian Li build quality though and no vibration. USB 3.0 ports on top.

My preference is always silver but can be got as black I believe. I think mine was on special offer but it is still (just) below your budget.

I'd wait for the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX Mid Tower Case, might be gettable for around £120 ish when out ? you aren't going to get the same build quality as that lian li for under £100 brand new these days.
